Use of a newsletter

When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your email address and, on an optional basis, other information. We use these data solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. We retain the data that you disclose in your newsletter application until you cancel your subscription to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter intended for this purpose, or by sending us the appropriate notification. By unsubscribing, you revoke the use of your email address.


Website Log Files

When you visit our websites, your browser transmits certain data to our web server for technical reasons. The following data are recorded during an ongoing connection for communication be-tween your internet browser and our web server:
- Date and time of your request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Type and version of the browser and the operating system you use
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Quantity of data transferred
For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attacks on our web server, we store these data for a short period of time. It is impossible to discern the identity of individual persons based on this data. After 30 days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish any reference to the individual user. The anonymized data will also be processed for statistical purposes. We don’t compare any data to data in other databases or forward them to third parties, even in excerpts.



Use of Google Tag Manager with consent from website visitors
This website uses Google Tag Manager– a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) – and obtains consent to do so from website visitors. Google Tag Manager is tool to control and administrate other tools and services that are integrated in the website. In order to execute this tool, a connection to Google Servers – most of which are situated in the US – has to be established. That way, personal data can be transferred to Google in the US. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or in so far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

 


Integration of YouTube videos
On this website, we have integrated videos from the platform YouTube LLC (“YouTube”), a subsidiary company of Google Inc., in order to add value to our online presentation. No cookies are being used for this purpose. The videos have been integrated using the privacy enhance mode of YouTube (“youtube-nocookie”). This way, we make sure that your personal data will not be transferred YouTube, which would mean a potential transfer to a third country where they might be processed for their own purposes. Use of etracker with consent from website visitors
This website uses etracker and obtains consent to do so from website visitors in order to analyse users’ interactions on our website. Etracker is a so-called website analysis service. Etracker uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website.
In case you do not consent to the use of etracker, we use the cookie-less mode of etracker on the grounds of our legitimate interest in designing our website appropriately. That way we make sure that the users’ analysis will be processed without any intervention.



Use of Google AdWords with consent from website visitors

This website uses Google Ads Conversion Tracking – a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”) – and obtains consent to do so from website visitors. Google Ads Con-version Tracking also uses “cookies” stored on your computer that allow analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmit-ted to a Google server in the US and stored there. Meta stores this user behaviour in different cookies. Fan pages on Social Media channels Youtube, LinkedIn and Facebook
Based on our legitimate interested according to Art 6 Par 1 f GDPR we use corporate pages on Youtube, LinkedIn and Facebook in order to present our company and establish contact to (potential) customers as well as candidates.
The three of them are US American platform that also process personal user-related data in order to improve their advertisement activities. This means that your data may be processed outside of the European Union which can complicate the enforcement of your rights. We have no influence on the data processing by the three platform.
The platforms provide us with anonymised statistical data which we can use to improve our offer. These data include primarily the reach of certain posts, reactions like the so-called “like” and their likes, page impressions as well as video impressions. If a user wishes to establish contact to us via a social network, we will process her or his user name as well as eventual contact data in order to respond to his request.
